The MS-13 profits from human, drug and sex trafficking, kidnapping, murder, racketeering, blackmail and extortion, all laundered through businesses such as motels, pharmacies, real estate and vehicle purchases.
Many of these businesses are managed by or registered in the name of frontmen to cover the tracks of the MS-13’s top leaders, leaving companies open to unknowingly doing business with the MS-13 and its contacts.
